My client is a multi-disciplined Tier One Main Contractor who specialises in Civil Engineering. They have been trading since the 50's and have generated a superb reputation and are regarded as one of the best UK-based Civil Engineering contractors. They work UK wide and their turnover has rocketed past £1B. The types of works they specialise in involve utilities such as water infrastructure and power. They also work in the rail industry, highways, energy, and groundworks. I have been recruiting for this company for several years and everyone I deal with is a genuinely nice individual and that filters throughout the whole business. Their high standard of work has seen them become successful on huge projects and frameworks such as HS2, Thames Water, UKPN, and CP6.
About the role
Due to the company winning a couple of large projects they are looking for a Project Manager to look after large water infrastructure projects within London. Responsibilities will include, design management, working on bids & tenders, overseeing commercial aspects of projects, overseeing health, safety & quality as well as delivering schemes to a brilliant standard. You will be involved in providing leading customer service and satisfaction, delivering operational objectives to support the client in meeting their performance commitments, and achieving high levels of compliance. The types of projects you will work on will be pumping station, Water mains construction and renovation, and Water and wastewater treatment plants. The projects will range anywhere in value from £5M - £30M.

I need someone with at least 2 years of experience as a Project Manager, as well as someone from an Engineering background
