Site Manager - Civil Engineering Contractor
£50k-£55k plus package

The company
We are representing a client who are a well-established Commercial Civil Engineering Contractor who specialise on both commercial and industrial projects.
Our client has several brand-new projects coming up, so due to growth they are now looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee various projects and become a key part of the company for many years to come.
It is essential that the Site Manager has relevant experience in leading and managing Engineering, Structural, Concrete & Groundwork/Basement projects so they can come in and hit the ground running. This role would suit someone with around 7-10 years' experience who wants to become a key part of the business moving forward.
The successful Site Manager will have experience in Steek Structural, Structural Designs, drainage, excavation, road building, car parks and a strong understanding of the full build process from green field site to completion.
The role of the Site Manager
Reporting into the Lead Engineer your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Ensure successful delivery of a variety of planned works on budget, time in a safe manner and fully in accordance with the company policy and procedures.
Managing a team of Site & Project Managers within the company and motivating other members of staff.
Managing Contractors and direct operatives, enduring planned works are completing on time and within budget whilst minimizing disruption to residents and the public.
You will work closely with the supply chain and client and provide high quality technical expertise on all construction matters.
Keeping fully up to date with the latest Health & Safety regulation
To be successful as a Site Manager, you will need to possess the following:
Strong track record as a Site Manager working for a Civil contractor or Groundwork
Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
Be extremely process driven and results focused.
Able to manage and motivate a team and deal with any on site issues.
