Experienced Civil Engineer - Site Development

Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position open for an experienced civil engineer to work on site development projects.

This position will support planning and design for multiple site development projects for higher education campuses, industrial manufacturing plans, public government complexes, airports, and institutional facilities for public and private sector clients. Responsibilities include:

• base mapping
• site investigation
• geometric design for roadways / parking / sidewalks / ADA
• grading
• drainage analysis and design
• utility design
• signing and pavement marking
• maintenance of traffic
• lighting
• preparing design packages
• cost estimates
• preparing technical reports and memos

The successful candidate will have all of the following, a bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited university in civil engineering; at least eight years of relevant work experience; and a PE license in any state.

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:

• site civil concept development
• site grading/earthwork
• hydraulic analysis and design of stormwater management facilities
• CADD experience
