Purpose:
Act as quantity surveyor/estimator for cfes Ltd Projects Team reporting principally to the Project Director and Senior Project Manager with a key liaison and supporting role to Project Manager(s), Site Manager(s) and or Working Foreman(s). Role currently based at 24 Eversholt Street, London, NW1 1BS.
General
Assist the Project Director and Project Manager with all aspects of the project management processes and ensure correct document management in line with the company quality control procedures.
Oversee the office and act a point of contact for the office provider community lead.
Improve our social media output and engagement.

Pre-Construction
- Review of tender documents ensuring bid compliance
- Carrying out estimating duties from raising tenders enquiries to holding final tender adjudications.
- Identifying value engineering solutions
- Production of cost plans from conceptual or details drawings
- Sending out enquiries to subcontractors-suppliers for all required materials and trades.
- Carry out site surveys to review tender requirements.
- Commercial contact with supply chain partners through pre-contract meetings, contract vetting and input to subcontract documents. Manage on an on-going basis to maintain schedule of rates and up to date material cost management.
Construction
- Review of quotations received from suppliers/subcontractors and relevant terms and conditions.
- Working with contract administrator/PMO Coordinator to issue out purchase orders to sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Monitor project costs, maintaining change control logs and producing monthly valuations for senior PM sign-off.
- Commercial management of subcontractors including processing payments, obtaining final account agreements, and resolving disputed issues by negotiation, if appropriate.
- Progress reviews with supply chain and cost account management
- Attend regular site client and supply chain meetings
- Monitor the timely production of reliable cost performance data.
