We have an excellent opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer / Engineering Geologist to join the Ground Investigation team within an leading Engineering and Environmental Services Contractor in Maidstone. The successful applicant will assist with site supervision, report writing and project management for a range of intrusive ground investigations.
Suitable candidates will have a relevant engineering academic background, relevant degree qualifications include BSc Geology, Geoscience or Geochemistry, ideally with MSc Environmental Engineering, Contaminated Land or Engineering Geology.
It is also essential that candidates can demonstrate a track record of supervising geotechnical site investigations, window sampling, cable percussive and trial pits, logging soils and rocks, technical phase 1 report writing and client liaison.
Working in a team of specialists you will be responsible for; preparing reports on site conditions, arranging site walkovers, preparing and producing technical reports, soil sampling/analysis, geotechnical reporting and remediation validation.
