Working within a small team, as Design Engineer you deliver projects on time and within budget. You will prepare designs to meet relevant legislation and standards, managing the Technician to support the project deliverables.
You will have a degree (or equivalent) in Civil engineering or other related subject and will have a good understanding of the railway environment (ideally) and the delivery of civil engineering design within it. You will need excellent IT skills including CAD or other design software and will have a good understanding of the legislative framework including CDM Regulations, 2015.
Full driving licence is essential for this role as you will be required to attend site meetings throughout the UK (with occasional overnight stays when required).
Experience or an interest in the railway industry would be an advantage.
If successful you will need to undertake PTS training, supported by the client.
