Geo-Environmental Engineer / Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer
Shadbolt Group is an independent Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy to the built environment and we are looking for an Engineer / Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer to join our team.
The role is based predominantly in our Corby Office, Northamptonshire but will also include visits to our Head Office in Gateshead, supporting and advising our internal and external clients nationally.
Currently, Shadbolt Group provide home working assistance (IT, mobile equipment, etc) and it is anticipated that you will work at home / in the office (or on site) on an agreed flexible basis.
Our client base is UK wide, varied across developers, residential, industrial, commercial, and local authority clients.
As an Engineer / Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer you will have experience within a similar role with both technical expertise and excellent client facing skills.
You will be involved predominately, in the implementation of Desk Studies, Ground Investigations, Remediation Design, SSite, Supervision, Validation and the production of quality interpretive reports to the expected standard.
The level of experience can range from a candidate looking to take the next step in their career (3yrs+) or an experienced senior professional (5yrs+). All applications will be considered on merit and what attributes they can bring to the business.
You will have a strong academic background in a Geo-Environmental Engineering and / or Environmental Science Degree ideally with post graduate qualifications in specialist environmental subjects.
You will have had previous experience producing environmental studies from inception through to completion exceeding daily targets and staying within project budget. You will possess excellent oral and written communication skills which are essential for regular client liaison and technical report writing.
