Heating Engineer Renewable Energy Installation

My client, a Market leader in renewable energy: one of the UK's most experienced consultants, designers, suppliers, installers, and maintainers of renewable energy systems is looking for a Heating Engineer to join their installation team based at the new Cheltenham office.

For this role You will need to understand zone-controlled systems on larger domestic properties.

The projects are a mixture of new build and retrofit installations Although a good understanding of Heat pumps would be helpful, training and support will be given to the right applicant from our technical staff in the office as well as our on-site engineers.

Responsibilities of the Heating Engineer

• To lead an installation team, under the direction of the installation supervisors.
• Manage the mechanical work on a site to the agreed designs and timescales. Any variations to the project are only accepted by the project manager.
• Responsible for ensuring site is kept safe and clean, that work is tested properly, and all the relevant project paperwork is returned to the Iso office.
• Willing to be trained up in the company's way of working- high quality renewable energy systems.
• Work on a mixture of properties, from domestic houses to new builds.
• Work in various roles - pipe fitting, lagging, filling, heat pumps, boiler systems including fuel stores, ventilation, flues, groundworks, manifolds, and chambers.

2 positions available - 1 with only local work and the other will require you to stay away up to 50% of the time

Full driving license will be essential

Salary offered between 40k-48k dependant on experience
