Principal Structural Engineer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Principal Structural Engineer to join a multi - disciplinary consultancy in Leamington Spa. This is a great chance to join an established company with over 45 years' experience in the industry. They are a business which is large enough to have an established structure and support base, but still small enough for an ambitious individual to make a real impact on the team.

This role is idea for someone who is ideally Chartered, however someone that is on the path to becoming chartership will also be considered. Ideally you will have over 10 years' experience in a UK consultancy environment

In summary, your role will be to assist associates to plan, organise, and manage all aspects of Structural and Rail engineering projects within agreed resource, budgetary and time constraints. You will be involved in the preparation and checking of Structural Engineering designs and drawings, specifications, reports, and general correspondence. You should be a personable character as liaising and communicating with clients will be a big part of your job. Being a mentor to the more junior members of staff will also be something that you should thrive on, bringing through the next generation of young engineers and technicians will be an everyday task, they will be coming to you for advice, and this is an opportunity to have a real impact on peoples lives. However, it is not simply a management position, and you will be expected to undertake usual Engineering tasks such as prepare structural reports on buildings and other structures.
