An opportunity has become available for a Geotechnical / Geo Environmental Engineer to join a leading engineering consultancy in Leeds.
Suitable candidates will have a relevant engineering academic background, relevant degree qualifications include BSc Geology, Geoscience or Geochemistry, ideally with MSc Environmental Engineering, Contaminated Land or Engineering Geology.
This role will suit an Engineer who has already gained commercial experience relating to supervisory work for intrusive geotechnical site investigations. Experience overseeing site activities such as window sampling, cable percussive and trial pits, logging soils and rocks, technical phase 1 report writing and client liaison is essential.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic team of experienced Geotechnical Engineers and enjoy a variety of tasks including; preparing reports on site conditions, arranging site walkovers, preparing and producing technical reports, soil sampling/analysis, geotechnical reporting and remediation validation.
