Trainee Structural Engineer
Employment type: Permanent, full-time
Location: Sale, Manchester
Hours: 9am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday
Salary: £28,000-£32,000 p.a. dependent on experience + bonus
My client is currently recruiting for a Trainee Structural Engineer to join their organisation on a permanent basis. They are a consultancy business offering structural engineering services for residential and commercial build projects.
Responsibilities
Participating in the production of structural design calculations and other design documents within defined project timescales.
Liaising with other construction professionals in the development of designs.
Utilising various design software such as Tedds and Tekla for designs.
Directing technicians in the production of AutoCAD and Revit drawing information.
Assisting in the production of AutoCAD and Revit drawing information.
Assisting with project administration.Experience/ Skills required
Previous structural engineering experience. Ideally this will have been gained in residential or commercial construction, although this is not essential.
BEng degree in Structural/ Civil Engineering.
Full UK Driving Licence is preferred.My client offers mentoring to their Trainee Engineers and provides great opportunities for career development.
