The California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation has an opening for a Senior Structural Engineer in the Architecture & Engineering (A/E) Section of the Facility Planning, Construction & Management Division (FPCM) located in Sacramento, CA.
Description
Do you enjoy working with a variety of project types? Do you enjoy working in a collaborative team environment? Do you have experience with building design? A/E Section may be the place for you! We deliver in-house designs, manage consultants, support construction, and consult with institutions and program stakeholders.
FPCM oversees over 41 million square feet of State-owned building space on over 27,000 acres, and each institution is like a little city with housing, healthcare, education, recreation and administration. These buildings include nearly every occupancy group and construction type resulting in a huge variety of projects and assignments for A/E Section. We are a diverse group working in a collaborative team environment delivering projects critical to the mission of CDCR.
