Description
Closing date is 6th June but we would encourage early applications
This role will be based from our Dorking office until July 2022.
Salary £40,000 to £55,000 pa
Structural Integrity is a fundamental discipline in our Asset Integrity group. Working across energy, industry and defence sectors, we deliver projects supporting assets that are high value, high performance, or safety critical for world class organisations.
We substantiate the design of new products, systems and facilities, to investigate and resolve in-service problems or to extend the life of aging assets. This can require the use of advanced methods and novel approaches to answer very complicated problems, and engage in method development to continually progress our service offer. Typically, we use mathematical sciences (code assessment, fundamentals, CAE/FE) complemented with robust site and operational experience to provide this insight.
We are seeking experience of design/assessment codes, plant operation, pressure vessel and pipe work, rotating machinery, coupled with demonstrable experience with FEA, fatigue, fracture and fitness-for-service. You will be involved in the technical delivery and leadership of large scale integrity or life extension projects, technical oversight, review of the work of other staff, developing and maintaining relationships with our clients and innovating our service offer.
Ideally you will be able to operate at a portfolio level, bringing together the requisite skills from a team of colleagues to develop and negotiate the architecture of a project, and see it's delivery through to successful completion.

The successful applicant will meet the following minimum requirements:
