Role: Civil Structural Engineer
Location: Based in Bristol
Rate: Competitive (inside IR35)
Our client is a leading Civil Infrastructure company based in Bristol, they are looking for two Civil Structural Engineers to be seconded into the end client.
Activities to be carried out as part of the service:
1. Receive, analyse and verify the consistency of the input data.
2. Produces deliverables for which they are responsible (design hypotheses, methodology and assumption notes; technical specifications; calculation notes).
3. Coordinate the work of CAD Designers.
4. Perform technical verifications of civil engineering design notes, models and drawings.
5. Contribute to the surveillance of the anchorages designed by the equipment suppliers.
6. Contribute to CDM reviews, create and maintain the Design Risk Register.
7. Load evolution tracking and civil design margin management
8. Liaise with site-based engineering teams to facilitate the construction.
9. Liaise with subject matter experts.
Profile:
· Degree qualified
· Minimum 2 years of experience working in a similar capacity
· Ideal candidate will have previous experience of working on nuclear or major civil engineering projects
