Public Works Capital Projects Manager
Location: Richland, WA

Description
The City is looking for a Capital Projects Manager to perform complex administrative and engineering work planning, organizing and coordinating operations, activities, staff and resources associated with various Public Works projects and programs, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the general direction of the Public Works Director (supervisor). Divisional supervision is exercised over assigned personnel.
Minimum Requirements
- Washington State Professional Engineer's license upon hire and maintain throughout employment. Out of State applicants must have the ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire date.
- Valid driver's license.
- Bachelor's degree with coursework in civil engineering or closely related field and six (6) or more years of experience in engineering design, planning and project administration, including two (2) years in a supervisory role, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position will be:
- A skilled project/program manager with demonstrated experience managing project delivery through the many process requirements of capital improvements.
- A confident and skilled communicator with extensive experience in both oral presentations and written communications.
