The Company

Our client run a wide range of projects from Commercial, Residential, Leisure, Hospitality and Industrial. Having experienced continued growth throughout the pandemic and the recent winning of new contracts, they are now looking to recruit a Senior Structural Engineer to join their growing team.

In this role you will be designing structural elements for residential schemes in steel including foundation design. You will be directly involved with taking on projects all the way from inspection through to on-site construction. You will be aiding in the delivery of projects to specific client requirements. Your responsibilities will include; creating structural designs, calculations, drawings, stakeholder management and supporting the team to ensure it meets objectives. You will oversee the work and mentor and develop junior staff whilst the team grows. This role is majority office based, with flexible hybrid working on offer, with occasional site visits being required.

This role would therefore ideally suit a Structural Engineer with experience working within a consultancy environment. The successful candidate will have experience creating designs on the structural engineering elements of projects. You will also have the desire to progress within a growing business and continually develop your knowledge and skills.

The Role:

• Produce design work for a variety of construction projects
• Working predominantly designing Residential projects, with the opportunity to work on Modular projects
• Overseeing and developing junior staff
• Senior Structural Engineer

The Person:

• Experience working as a Structural Engineer in the construction industry
• Relevant degree within Engineering
• Competent in CAD and Computer assisted engineering software (Revit, Tekla, Microstation)
• The desire to progress and develop their career within a growing company
