Senior Quantity Surveyor - Civil Engineering

In this exciting Senior Quantity Surveyor role, you will support the project team in all commercial matters and liaise with Operational teams to ensure commercial objectives are delivered within this Civil Engineering company.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor your duties & responsibilities will be:- Day to day management and development of the commercial team.- Cost, value and change management for project- Risk and opportunity management for project.- Ensure compliance with standards and procedures in respect of commercial activities.- Subcontract procurement and management.- Assist in financial reporting for project.- Manage Commercial team to ensure delivery of above items and develop their knowledge.- Provide support and training for site staff on commercial issues.- Identification, preparation and negotiation of Compensation events.- Understanding and good working knowledge of the NEC3 TSC Contract.
Skills & Knowledge Requirements
- A comprehensive level of commercial experience preferably within a contracting organisation.- BSc or HND in Quantity Surveying or equivalent construction related subject- Financially astute- Relevant CSCS Card
