Water Treatment Design Engineer

Our client is an industry leader in industrial water treatment. They are currently searching for a Design Engineer to join their team in the North West of England.

You will be responsible for the designing of state-of-the-art water treatment facilities, ensuring they are of the best possible design and achieve the clients' goals. You will need to consider available space, budget, industry standards and regulations as well as environmental factors.

The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

* Ensuring design drawings are produced in a timely manner to agreed timescales

* Ensuring the design is the best possible, in terms of efficiency and commercially

* Working closely with Product Managers, Process Engineers and Electrical Design Engineers to perfect designs

* Generating of 2D and 3D drawings based upon client needs and information provided

This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis, and you will be based at our client's site in Stoke-On-Trent. Our client offers a broad range of benefits, including 33 days holiday (including public holidays) per year, a pension scheme, private medical insurance and Cycle to Work Schemes.

Candidates are encouraged to apply who:

* Have experience with 3D design software, for example CREO, Inventor or SolidWorks

* Can demonstrate a history of working to client deadlines

* Have an understanding of the technology and equipment used in Water Treatment (e.g. pumps, pipework, valves and tanks)

* Are able to constructively review the designs of others

* Have excellent communication skills

Those candidates with experience of Windchill or a similar PDM are at an advantage.
