Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Our client are a market leading multidisciplinary consultancy in the acquisition of a Geotechnical Engineer based in Kent.

This specialist consultancy provide Geotechnical/Geo-Environmental services as well as Civil and Structural Engineering solutions throughout the residential and infrastructure construction sectors.

Due to an ever increasing workload, they are seeking an experience Geotechnical/Geo-Environmental Engineer to be based in their offices based in Kent, servicing projects throughout the South East.

To be successful in your application you must have at least 3 years experience in the industry with the ability to supervise and plan Site Investigations, utilising your knowledge of geology throughout the South East.

In addition to this, you must demonstrate: A strong BSc/MSc in a relevant subject eg Engineering Geology/Environmental Engineering Chartered/Working towards chartership with a relevant professional body.

Experience carrying out Site Investigations Experience mentoring Junior staff.

This exciting role will include: Phase 1 & 2 Investigation and Reports Client Liaison Factual and Interpretative report writing Technical advice and support regarding Site Investigation Quantitative risk assessments and verification reports Site Investigation, including trial pitting, soakaway testing, borehole investigations.Working as a Geotechnical Engineer for an established consultancy that pride itself on employee care, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary and benefits package in a company that will support you throughout your professional development.
