An extremely exciting opportuity has arisen within a leading Utilities company for a Waste Water Adoption Manager.
It is a hugely exciting time for the company who are currently undertaking huge expansion and are looking for someone to join the business and be a part of the success.
On offfer is a salary of up to £51,000. You will be eligibale for annual bonus, health care , 25 days holiday, car allowance and much more.
Responsibilities and Duties:
To technically approve S104 submissions made by the developers to ensure compliance with the Water Act and Leep`s requirements.
-Provide support to the Head of Project Delivery on all regional waste water adoption enquiries.
• Assist in budget planning and forecasting for all waste water adoption activities
• Forecasting of all future invoices for regional waste water activities and ensuring any required invoicing is raised in a timely fashion
• To manage the raising of purchase orders for contractor works, identifying variances when they occur.
• Ensuring activities and assets are compliant with all relevant legislation
• Leading on new assets handover, ensuring all relevant records, agreements and contracts are in place.
• To ensure that site inspections and contractor checks are carried out in accordance with the Water Act, the latest edition of Sewers for Adoption and LNWL requirements.
• Work closely and liaise with BDM`s, assess the drainage proposals and offer assistance where required to help win new business.
• Attend meetings with BDM`s and Developers to help "promote" our business.
Requirements:
• Experience of working in the water industry (particularly in waste water)
• A good understanding of the regulatory adoption process requirement of waste and surface water assets
• Proven track record of the management of contractors
• Working familiarity with H&S management and audit
• Understanding of regulatory standards applicable to the business and the processes required to be compliant with them
• Good computer and reporting skills • Adaptability and an eagerness to learn
