We are an expanding and successful water hygiene company with nationwide coverage and are looking to recruit a Water Treatment Engineer to support our growth and continue their success.
We require an experienced Water Treatment Engineer to join our team and commit 100% to the growth of the company and be involved in all areas of work activities.
Although you will primarily be based in the Home Counties & London, there will be a need to travel to meet the needs of additional contracts nationwide, so a full UK, clean driving license will be essential.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience in the Water Treatment / Hygiene industry
Good understanding and a proven track record of working to ACoP L8
Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments - WMSoc LRA basic - minimum requirement
Training junior / less experienced members of staff
Chemical analysis of closed systems - BSRIA basic - minimum requirement
Sampling of H&C water systems
Cleaning and disinfection of CWST's and H&C water systems
Mains water chemical disinfection Calorifier inspection, descaling & disinfection
Temperature monitoring Shower head cleaning and disinfection
Thorough understanding of schematic drawings
Cold water storage tank inspections
Experience of electronic site logbooks and CAFM / PDA database systems
Monitoring and recording data in site log books
Working in confined spaces and working at height
Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
Ability to work to own initiative
Will be dedicated, an all-rounder, motivated, flexible, have good working ethic & attitude along with a willingness to travel
Excellent rates of pay dependent on experience + overtime, Company vehicle, smart phone & career opportunities (full time, permanent position with additional internal/external training provided to progress career).
