At Eni, we are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer within Eni Progetti in Basingstoke, England. You will be responsible for acting as a Senior Civil Engineer on projects supporting the Civil Project Discipline Lead Engineer. Projects will vary from Feasibility phase through Basic Design and FEED to Detailed Design and Construction.

EniProgetti performs a key role as part of the Development Function supporting the engineering for all the businesses (Upstream, Midstream and Downstream) of Eni, the Italian Integrated Energy Company. It has an integrated operation across several offices and headquartered in Milan, Italy.
EniProgetti UK has already had a long history as a centre of technical excellence within the Eni group as engineering specialists, first as Snamprogetti Limited and subsequently as Saipem Limited & Eni Engineering. We are Eni's competence and execution centre in the UK for engineering activities covering all phases of development projects and operations in the Energy Sector. The office is helping to lead Eni in the energy transition from oil and gas and is currently heavily involved in the Decommissioning of existing assets and the development of new CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage) facilities with these forming the majority of our workload as well as increasing activities in wind opportunities and hydrogen generation and distribution.
The newly upgraded office is a landmark feature on Basing View in central Basingstoke, with ample parking and only a five minute walk from the mainline railway station.

As a member of Engineering Team at Eni Porgetti you will be responsible for:
- Projects can be relevant to onshore/offshore oil/gas production facilities, LNG, CCS and renewables production facilities.
- Undertaking the competent engineering of civil, structural, and building works in accordance with Company procedures, standards and plans, and international standards and codes of practice.
- Carrying out civil and structural analysis and design, including the preparation of MTOs, specifications and design criteria.
- Assisting in the preparation of Scopes of Work for: Site Preparation; Geotechnical and Topographic Surveys; Main EPC Works.
This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements :
- Broad experience of civil and structural engineering covering all aspects from foundations to steel structures, site preparation and earthworks, roads, drainage and buildings with an emphasis on the onshore oil and gas industry. Should also have a good understanding of geotechnical matters and also an appreciation of architectural design. Should be conversant with British, European and American civil/structural design codes, and be computer literate, and be familiar with software analysis and design packages such as STAADPro or SAP2000
- BSc or MSc in Civil Engineering. Ideally working towards becoming a Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE) or Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers (MIStructE) or equivalent relevant Institution.
