Structural Engineer

HSB Technical recruiting for a Structural Engineer - working for a global well established multi-disciplined Engineering Consultancy
You will be joining a team of professionals, working on some exciting and complex Offshore structures projects in the renewable wind, and wider O&G sector
This will be predominantly office based, with some flexible working available 1-2 days per week as necessary
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Provide support to client briefs and specification for both new and existing projects
- Carry out detailed structural analysis; such as - finite element analysis (FEA), stress / fatigue, hydrodynamic calculations for offshore structures
- Produce detailed reports, and project risk assessments to clients
- Support the team with design modifications that meet industry standards, and maximises project output
- Build long term relationships with clients, targeting repeat work and attracting new prospective projects
Ideal candidate:
- MSc Degree qualified, in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering
- Extensive experience in complex Structural Engineering projects within the offshore marine, Civil / structural or O&G industry
- Experience with advanced software analysis packages such as ANSYS / Abaqus, AQWA, Staad Pro etc
- An excellent communicator at all levels
- Confident and professional attitude
