Technically, you could be…
Geotechnically, you are.
You know how things work technically in the geotechnical world and you're no stranger to mentoring junior staff with all that technical stuff you're best at.
We're looking to hire you on behalf of an award-winning Geo-Environmental consultancy, well-known for the clear set of values and principles, and a reputation for making employees feel they are "part of a positive in a changing world".
You've got expert geotechnical knowledge, and you're experienced in managing teams of diverse abilities. You have a strong background in Geotechnical Engineering, as well as a relevant Geotechnical or Geology based engineering degree and MSc in Environmental Science, Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology or other relevant subjects.
This is important because you'll be producing and reviewing contamination assessments and geotechnical design input, primarily to built environment projects. Not to mention directing engineers in the development of technical reports and reviewing. (Phase I Preliminary Risk assessment, phase 2 Ground Investigations, Remediation option.)
You'll also manage projects under minimal supervision including liaison with the client and other members of the project team. Along with the design, supervision and site-based management of site investigations including costing and procuring.
In return, you'll get a salary of around £40k - £60k per year, a 7% pension, a health cash plan, an employee wellness program, life assurance, long-term illness protection and 25 days of leave. You'll also get the freedom to work from home for two days per week.+
So, if you're well versed in Geotechnical Engineering and ready to take your skills somewhere new, apply now
