An exciting vacancy has just opened with one of our brilliant clients who specialise in the control and prevention of Legionella in hot and cold water systems. They have been in operation for 20 years delivering high quality services across the UK and working to L8 and HSG274 stadards.

They are currently looking for a Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer based in the West Midlands, ideally you will have some previous experience in a similar role but candidates with an eagerness to learn, knowledge of Legionella and hot and cold water systems will be considered.

Key Tasks & Duties of a Water Hygiene Engineer:

TMV services and installations.
Closed system analysis and dosing.
Tank inspections, cleans & disinfections.
Water sampling from various water systems and sources.
Temperature monitoring of domestic water systems.
Remedial plumbing works and reactive maintenance.Requirements of a Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer:

A full UK driving license is essential for the role.
You must be willing to travel and stay away on occasions.
You must have knowledge of hot and cold water systems.
Experience in some or all of the above duties is desirable.
Ideally you will hold an NVQ or similar in plumbing with any additional qualifications being beneficial.The successful candidate will be given full training developing and gaining knowledge across all water hygiene and legionella duties.
