Design Resource Group is a design driven multi-disciplinary firm with Civil Engineers, Landscape Architects, and Transportation Planners. We are an industry expert in high density urban projects and new-urban/suburban projects, including high density urban housing and mixed-use, innovative commercial and institutional typologies. Because our teams are horizontally integrated within these three disciplines, we are known for seamlessly integrating the technical and aesthetic aspects of design, and for being strong team players who get the job done. We are looking for talented and ambitious Civil Engineers to join our growing team.

If you possess these job requirements and skills:

  • Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering
  • PE
  • 5+ years professional engineering experience (will consider internships in total time)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/ Civil 3D
  • Strong Management Skills

What you will do:

You will work with your multidisciplinary team on a variety of projects from start to finish. You will have access to many mentors along the way, including the Senior Principals. You will hone your skills; learn all aspects of the business and grow in a supportive, highly experienced, team environment. You can make a meaningful contribution to the real world of land development and enjoy yourself along the way.

  • Provide the design oversight, quality control, and budgetary management for the Project Team
  • Working with the DRG Team on the initial planning to identify critical design issues and development solutions
  • Directly responsible for the design and permitting of land development projects
  • Development of Proposals and management of Project Budgets
  • Management of design team to oversee scope of services and design quality
  • Attend project meetings with the team, with clients, and local agencies to coordinate design decisions, ensure project goals, and to streamline the approval of projects
