The client I am working with are a family run business, which was originally set up in 2012 and have grown from being specialist hard landscapers to contractors offering groundwork, civil engineering and utilities services.

The scope of works includes drainage, foundations, concreting, externals, road construction, deep drainage, sewer connections and hard landscaping. Over the years we have built an enviable portfolio of projects, with a proven history on both the private and public sectors. The value of these range from £5k-£5M.
The Role: Setting out, levelling and surveying the site Assisting the QS with quantities and project progress Reporting progress on site to senior management Supporting the Site Manager with day to day running of projects Checking plans, drawings and setting out co-ordination Overseeing quality control Preparing reports as required for the site manager and senior management Having a proactive approach to resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
About you: Passionate about ensuring good site engineering practices and culture are followed and have a strong client service focus. Ability to work independently with a proactive approach to work. Have a can do attitude and are willing to ensure that jobs are engineering and managed successfully and that we leave clients with that lasting impression.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications: CSCS SSSTS or SMSTS Qualified HNC or HND / Degree in Civil Engineering / Building; Desirable Good knowledge & experience of AutoCAD Setting-Out Experience with Groundworks and Civil Engineering Experience with the use of Total Station and GPS Able to work well both within a team & independently
