Civil Engineering Design Manager, Hampshire

My client is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer and Civil Engineering Design Manager to join their specialist team to deliver a wide range of confirmed projects over a 5 year framework. They are seeking Civil Engineers on either a permanent or contract basis.

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for the management of the design process and project managing to successfully delivery projects to budget and timescale.

Responsibilities

• Civil engineering design management, including the preparation of technical drawings for a wide range of projects types and forms

• Project management of projects including the day to day management of external consultants

• Assisting with the commercial management of projects to time and budget requirements.

•Undertaking site visits and external consultant meetings to ensure collaboration and management of programme.

• Experienced civil engineer who has worked on a variety of project types and forms, above and / or below ground. .

• Experience and understanding of multi-disciplinary design process

We are seeking Civil Engineers who hold a Degree in a relevant engineering field, and either already Chartered or working towards Chartership. My client will support with both financial and personal development to achieve accreditation..
