Intermediate Structural Engineer - Oxford - to £45,000 per annum plus bonus, pension & benefits;
This successful medium sized civil and structural consultancy has a national workload of high quality projects. Reporting to an associate you will be involved in the whole design process form concept stages through to completion. You will work closely with architects and developers across the commercial, residential, leisure and hi-tech manufacturing sectors. This will entail developing structural designs using all the commonly used materials and will include architectural inspired work, multi-storey, refurbishment and façade retention and listed building projects. The vacancy is the result of a growing workload throughout all their offices. The company has exceptionally low levels of staff turnover and invests heavily in staff welfare and professional development. They provide a high level of customer support and aftercare, this means you will have regular contact with key clients. Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential. You will need to be a degree qualified engineer who is working towards chartered status with the ICE or IStructE. Mentorship and training will be provided to enable you to become chartered and to develop your design and delivery skills.
