Graduate Structural Engineer - Southampton | £25,000 - £28,000
Are you an ambitious Graduate Structural Engineer looking to start a role that provides a clear path to a long-term, prosperous career, working on a range of projects across multiple sectors? Hoping to receive help and training toward Chartership?
We have a great opportunity for a Graduate Structural Engineer to join a small, collaborative team of Engineers in the Southampton office, who will guide and develop the successful candidate through the early stages of their career. Additionally, this support continues whilst on your path to Chartership, with approved ICE and IStructE training schemes!
The consultancy in question is conscious and aware of the issues facing the world, taking responsibility in the fight against climate change with a Carbon Reduction Plan and goals of becoming NetZero! Additionally, they place an emphasis on innovation, design, and sustainability, working closely with other trades & professions to achieve the client's vision.
The successful Graduate Structural Engineer will have the opportunity to work on a vast range of structural projects in various sectors, including Education, Retail, Residential, Health Care, Commercial and more. The consultancy in question works on small one-off projects all the way up to projects with construction values of over £100million! Once again, this provides a variance to the role, keeping it fresh and exciting.

Assisting and collaborating with Structural Designers to create designs and detailing that suits client demands.
Attending meetings, developing relationships with clients that are built of trust and an understanding of their needs/wants.
You can also expect to attend site on occasion, ensuring the project is being completed as planned. To be considered for this role, you must have completed a Civil / Structural Engineering degree and have a passion for the industry. Furthermore, you should be confident liaising with clients and other professionals, with a desire to gain Chartership in the future!
