Leading cutting edge and dynamic rail and civil engineering contractor with an outstanding reputation for high performance and innovation have an outstanding opportunity for a Commercial Manager to be involved in one of the most progressive and cutting edge projects in the UK based in North Yorkshire, the Commercial Manager will have ownership of a range of key

commercial and contractual responsibilities on this exciting scheme interfacing with the senior management team including civil and transportation engineering, design and construction.

The appropriate candidate will deploy robust commercial support and ensure all the associated commercial administration and the contract's agreements are secure including but not limited to the management of change and risk, leading the the commercial team in the pursuit of successful delivery of the programme. They will oversee contractual and financial authority, monitor, review, and improve commercial control strategies and procedures, establish appropriate control and audit regimes, provide robust and accurate reporting outputs and lead the commercial team in order to provide a successful commercial conclusion to the project

The successful individual will either be currently undertaking a commercial manager role or will be looking for the next step in their career. They will educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline with a track record in the management of commercial teams coupled with knowledge and experience of differing forms of industry procurement and contract terms and conditions. They will have demonstrable experience of resolution of construction contract disputes and robust post contract management.

Salary and package £75,000 - £85,000+ per annum dependent upon experience plus car, bonus and benefits
