This is a HPC Site based role

What you'll be doing

As a/an Construction Engineer (Electrical) , you will have the following accountabilities:

* RAMS able to produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements to support a package of works.

* Process and Procedures able to produce a process or procedure to provide clear concise instruction on how an item of equipment may be installed and the checks and balances required to prove installation to requirements.

* Select appropriate construction methods and strategies

* Carrying out of constructability studies including CDM assessments

* Liaison with the client to understand the HPC strategy for site wide management

* Specification of site requirements including temporary works and buildings

* Specification of system setting to work and testing requirements

* Derivation of material logistics plans including lifting requirements

* Actively demonstrate an attitude to safe working practice that reflects our own and our Clients culture strong safety culture.

* Requirements able to deduce and identify specific requirements for project and construction aspects.

* Proposals able to critique requirements and compile strategies into targeted proposals as solutions to problems.

Who we're looking for

You will have the following:

* Appropriate Engineering degree or suitable experience

* Professional accreditation preferred

* NVQ Leadership and Management

* IOSH Managing Safety

* Extensive experience in Construction Engineering.

* Considerable relevant experience in the construction of Power Generation and or oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries facilities (pressure vessels, tanks, mechanical, fabrication, pipelines, piping etc.) including live installations.

* Hold a current or a be willing to undertake CCNSG Safety Certificate or
CSCS Card
