Intermediate Structural Engineer

Our client, a well-established Consultancy based near Kingston upon Thames, are currently seeking a Structural Engineer to join them due to continued growth. The Structural Engineer will be working on high end residential projects from new build housing developments to refurbishment projects. You may also work with housing associations developing affordable housing schemes. With this position you will be working in the office or remote, with site visits.

The successful Structural Engineer will have 1-2 years post-graduation experience, residential experience will be advantageous. My Client will provide training, mentorship and all assistance needed to develop the successful candidate to an experienced engineer and ultimately chartered status through ICE or I.Struct.E.

With this position you will be reporting directly to the senior engineer and undergoing the following:

• Prepare structural designs and supporting calculations for new build and renovation projects
• Carry out site visits and attend design team meetings for ongoing projects
• Carry out structural inspections, report on defects and recommend remedial works

Intermediate StructuralEngineer Position Requirements

• 1-2 years post-graduation experience - Either with a Consultancy or Contractor
• Experience using AutoCAD or Revit
• Experience working with all major materials - Masonry and Steel essential
• A desire to work towards status chartered status through ICE or I.Struct.E.
• A track record of producing Structural designs and supporting calculations
• Full UK Driver's License
• Bachelors or Master's Degree within a Structural Engineering discipline
