Trojan Energy Limited are looking to recruit a Civil Project Engineer based in London to join their project delivery team.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will have experience in running complex multi stakeholder civil projects in both the public and private sector. In addition to effective project management skills, you will be expected to undertake a significant proportion of the project activities.
The projects will include co-ordinating the deployment of our novel EV charging technology across multiple council areas, ongoing research and development projects, and working with funding bodies and multiple stakeholders to ensure projects are completed successfully.

Essential Criteria
Relevant engineering qualification (minimum to degree level or equivalent), and at least 5 years' experience in project management roles including highways/utility engineering and project management. Proven to be self-starter and a team player. Experience managing civils contractors including tendering and contracts and manufacturing sub-contractors.
Desirable Criteria
Has proven experience working with multiple stakeholders public and private to complete challenging projects with minimal management support. Experience of managing projects with a grant award element. Experience installing infrastructure in an urban environment and experience installing EV infrastructure on-street.

Your duties will include:
- Project management of ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Operations Engineering and co-ordination of a diverse range of project partners (civil contractors, public bodies, private citizens, manufacturers).
- Ensuring all project supply requirements are competitively tendered.
- Production of technical design drawings, including, cross-sections and general arrangements.
- Ensuring strict compliance with the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015. Undertaking Principal Designer duties.
- Develop and maintain relationships with sub-contractors.
- Co-ordination of third party construction work required for the successful completion of Trojan projects. i.e. Statutory Undertaker diversionary works.
- Attending regular project meetings and generating associated reporting as required.
- Attending regular production and installation meetings.
- Identify critical path problems early and generate remedial actions where required.
- Manage all activity within QA and risk reporting systems used by company.
- Identifying areas for improvements and efficiency gains and implementing improvements.
- Travel to site (throughout the UK) to supervise and inspect and organise projects.
- Contribute to the development of sales proposals.
