Salary: £25,000 - £40,000 per annum dependent on experience plus company vehicle

Geotechnical Engineer - The Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and articulate professional Engineering Geologist or Geotechnical/ Geo-Environmental Engineer to take on an exciting position with us in Clevedon near Bristol. Alongside the key responsibilities below, the individual is expected to demonstrate a good understanding and experience of ground conditions in our local area. Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
Geotechnical Engineer - Key Responsibilities:
- Fieldwork supervision and logging
- Soil/groundwater contamination risk assessment
- Geotechnical foundation design advice
- Factual and interpretative report writing
Geotechnical Engineer - You:
- A driven and dedicated individual with the following:
- A confident and hard-working character who is self-motivated and possesses a ‘can-do' attitude
- A degree and/or master's degree within the Geotechnical, Geo-Environmental or Geology fields
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in the UK in a similar role
- A full UK Driver's License
- Experience with the responsibilities listed above
- Excellent communication skills to understand project requirements and client demands
- A self-starter who is well-organized and willing to take ownership for every aspect of their work
- Possess the ability to handle a challenging and diverse workload
- Ability to work well within a team environment and on own initiative
- The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary based on their level of experience in this field
