This is a special role and we are looking for someone who can demonstrate a specific interest in district heating, CHP and local energy generation.
This practice are experts in that area, have a strong track record of punching above their weight and have an opportunity, not problem mindset that is only matched by their passion for what they do.
With a small team and a huge depth of knowledge, they are looking for a graduate who has a degree in a subject such as energy, renewables, mechanical engineering or possibly building services. More importantly, you will have chosen modules, had a work placement, or completed your dissertation focusing on district heating, energy centres, CHP or regional generation.
If you can not demonstrate this background, it is vital that you explain your reasons for applying within your personal profile on your CV. Similarly, if you are relocating to the region, it would be helpful to say why be it links to the area, studying locally or a love of the region.
On offer is the chance to join a practice that is built upon projects and schemes that match your interest and work with people whose technical knowledge and experience is there to be shared with you. You will spend time on site, in front of clients, working closely with engineers in allied disciplines and of course, receive all the support you need to help you progress through to being Chartered and a leader in the field.
They have a super office location being a bit out of Newcastle, but brilliantly connected by road and rail coupled by being on the edge of some of the most stunning countryside that the region has to offer.
