Principal Geotechnical Engineer

A Principal Geotechnical Engineer contract opportunity has come available to work on a remote basis, no site work involved to lead and deliver HS2 Service diversions. This position is outside IR35.

To progress for this Principal Geotechnical Engineer position, you will need to be able to expertly deliver and project manage from initial feasibility through to detailed design and construction including all client liaison and financial management. You must be extremely experienced for this position.

Principal Geotechnical Engineer Essential Experience:

Experienced in all stages of the projects, from initial feasibility through to construction supervision and advice
Experienced as team leader or manager and supervising more junior members of staff
To have a professional profile and reputation within the industry at a local level
Experienced with preparation of geotechnical / engineering geology aspects of bids and business development
Proven experience on large multi-disciplinary projects preferably in the UK
Experience in earthworks design, specification and implementation
Experience in foundation design, retaining wall design, slope stability analysis and the production of detailed design drawings and specifications
Expertise in the use of commercial geotechnical software and design toolsQualifications (Must)
