Overview
- You would act as a client-side construction Project Manager and would be responsible for the management and coordination of the design, construction planning, and implementation of a wide range of facilities and estate projects.
- These projects could include; key infrastructure upgrades, utilities installation & removal, building refurbishments, new facilities, and office accommodation upgrades.
- This role offers the candidate the experience of working on a customer site and managing construction activities in a LIVE operational environment. This role would involve being line side to the construction activities working in a deployed office with a team of project management and professional consultants.
Key Skills
- Project Management qualifications and demonstrable experience
- Degree or HND/C qualified in Construction and/or Building Services is required, however other similar disciplines will be considered.
- Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in managing Health & Safety (e.g. NEBSOH General Certificate, IOSH)
- Knowledge of Construction and/or Plant & Equipment project installations
- Experience in working on live MoD establishment
- Knowledge of MoD/DIO Process and standards
- Proven experience of managing contractors on major construction projects in full compliance with the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015
- Good supplier management and communication skills
- Previous experience in the Design Management of Construction activities
- Prior experience in Construction Management
