We'll cover this during the assessment process.What you'll be doingYou'll be ensuring our contractors are delivering the required assets to the time, quality, and cost expected of them.You'll be involved during the design, construction, commissioning, and defects rectification period of the project. Ensuring buildability, efficient and effective delivery whilst safeguarding our site, compliance, and process., regulatory and statutory requirements while maximizing benefits to Thames Water.
- You'll be reviewing contractor performance and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently
- Promoting the Thames Water Three Zeros culture, monitoring contractor health and safety performance. Monitor and audit contractor Health and Safety performance against their Business Management System, and contractual and statutory obligations. Identify deficiencies; escalate and work with the contractor to improve
- Supporting contractor and Operations liaison during the design process, promoting innovation, best practice, and compliance with quality standards; planning for system integration, operability, and maintainability
- Chairing project meetings delegated by the Project Manager
- Hold an HNC or above in an appropriate engineering subject or significant experience in a similar role
- Hold a NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate or SMSTS
- Have knowledge and realization of processes used in Water / Wastewater / Networks as appropriate
- Understand the development of design, construction, and operation of infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects
- Understand the delivery Forms of the Contract
- Be strong in written and verbal communication and influencing
- Hold a water Hygiene card (Blue Card)
