Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer

A well-respected Geotechnical & Geo-Environmental Consultancy require a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer that can join a well-established team and bridge the gap between the Associate/Directors and engineers. You will act as project lead and helping with technical assurance for the office.

Once feet are under the table as a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer, you will have the responsibility to run with your own projects from inception through to completion including all procurement, costing, program and reporting with a full support network. Site work varies but sits at around the 10-20% mark.

The technical responsibilities as a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer surround both Geo-Environmental and Geotechnical reporting/solutions including phase 1, design/manage ground investigations, phase 2 interpretive reporting (combined), risk assessments, remedial methods, validations, geotechnical foundation recommendation/design, geotechnical foundation calculations (bearing capacity, settlement calculations), earthwork specifications etc.The ideal Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer candidate will have:

• Degree in a relevant environmental science/engineering discipline and have obtained an MSc (Beneficial).
• Proven track record in delivering geo-environmental and/or Geotechnical ground investigation consultancy projects.
• Experience of planning, managing, supervising and interpreting ground investigation data, in relation to contamination and geotechnical aspects.
• Proven track record in delivering technical projects including all reporting surrounding interpretation, remedial methods and risk assessments.
• Geotechnical experience is preferred but not essential.
• UK driving licence
