Structural /Analyst Engineer

I am working with a client who is looking for Structural Engineer or Analyst Engineer to join their Team on a Temp to Perm basis.

The role will be hybrid, working partly from home and partly from the client`s offices in Bristol.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will supervise, complete, validate and deliver Design Analysis on a variety of projects on site.

The role will include:
* To perform & check Design Analysis in accordance with company processes, procedures and instructions for company Design Scope.
* To proactively find solutions when Design Analysis are not conclusive.
* To proactively give optimisation feedback to its Senior Analyst Engineer or Engineering Design Lead
* To write reports & to be capable to define and organise the Design Analysis package production
* To write Technical Queries and Concessions Requests
* To perform quick Design Impact Analysis
* To support the Engineering Design Lead with project and tender costing
* To justify Design Impacts and proactively find solutions
* To contribute when required to Design Reviews
* To proactively seek best approaches with regards to HSE requirements
* To manage Design Analysis Changes and Configurations
* To manage subcontracted Design Analysis.
The role will be working on one of the largest infrastructure projects on the site with anticipated work up until 2024 in the first instance.

Required Qualifications

* Degree in Structural /Civil/ Mechanical Engineering

* Experience in the highly regulated industries will be advantageous.

* Experience in Temporary Work Design is required.

* In specify works for others, support less experienced engineers to develop them

* Demonstrate experience in a full design cycle

Necessary Software Skills:

* Experience with Design Analysis type of software

* Use of MathCAD

* Computer literate (Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project).

* Experience with SolidWorks, ANSYS, MathCAD, AutoCAD Robot and PDMS is also advantageous
