Civil Site Engineer - Hinkley Point - £65-75k salary + benefits

Are you a Civil Integrator / Civil Site Manager / Civil Site Engineer with 2+ years (ideally) experience on any previous Hinkley Point projects OR experience on live HV Substation projects?

Would you be willing to work in a role on site at Hinkley Point (Somerset) full time?

Would you be interested in a role that can offer a competitive negotiable salary + Car allowance + other benefits?

The Civil Integrator / Civil Site Engineer will be experienced in all substation site activities including HV plant construction, civil works, commissioning and health, safety and environmental legislation and practice. They will have the presence and personal qualities necessary to effectively monitor and control the site.

Your experience...

Civil Engineering Experience, preferably on Hinkley Point

Excellent communicator, with the presences and personal qualities necessary to effectively deliver, monitor and control given tasks.The ability to recognise own limitationsThe ability to show understanding and empathy in team members under pressure.

DBS Cleared,CSCS / BESC,First aid.Experience of QA requirements,IOSH Temporary Works Co-ordinatorAppointed Person Lifting OperationsSite Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)Construction in Leader Management (CILM) (preferred)HPC Nominated Competent Person (preferred)HPC badged (preferred)

The role....

To represent our client's interests on site with professional approach and integrityTo be at the work front during all Civil installation activities, Appointed Person for lifting and act as the Temporary Works Co-ordinator (completing Temp Works briefs and reviewing lift plans).Arranging and monitoring setting out activities with Civil contractors and the HPC team.Assisting in the planning and logistics of all equipment delivery, planning of day to day Temp Works activities and controlling lifting activities.Monitoring the Quality, Site Progress and Standards of site installation. Ensuring all items are installed to the highest standards.Ensuring all Quality documentation is fully completed to HPC and our client's standards and handed over to Site Quality Manager.Ensuring All HPC site operational procedures are being followedAttending relevant co-ordination meetings, offering sound construction input and advice on project delivery.To liaise with clients on site requirements, working in a collaborative manor.Preparation and co-ordination of site documentation such as ITP's, construction packs, site start up packs, drawings pack.
