Commissioning Engineer (Water Industry) - Home Based with frequent travel within the UK and Worldwide
This company, a world leader in the water treatment and purification sector need to bring in a Commissioning Engineer to cover sites within the UK and Worldwide. You will be a Time served Electrically biased Engineer with the ability to travel Worldwide frequently. Occasional travel to site in Monmouthshire for training and on site meetings.
Salary: £35 - £45k plus additional allowances - Excellent earning potential

The Role
· To install and commission new and existing products at customer sites to specification and customer satisfaction
· To undertake maintenance and service visits on Products all over the UK and Worldwide in offshore or Land based petrochemical and marine shipping environments.
· To provide technical support on installed base
· Supervision of contractors and inspection of works undertaken.
· On site testing, equipment strip down, completing detailed technical reports on commissioning, installation, and servicing.
· Fault Finding, programming using a variety of PLCs to include Rockwell, Siemens, and Aleen Bradley.
The Candidate
· You will be a Time served Engineer with an excellent electrical appreciation.
· Must hold valid, clean UK driving licence with the ability to travel Worldwide
· Willingness to work away from home frequently.
· Ability to read and maintain Engineering drawings and schematics (electrical, mechanical, P&I) through to final Commissioning.
· Sound Health and Safety awareness.
· Proven experience working in a Commissioning Engineer role within a Process, Oil and Gas, Marine, Water or Petrochemical industry. (Servicing environment).
· ATEX certified would be highly desirable
· Offshore qualified preferred, however, training will be provided.
