Are you currently a Geo-environmental Consultant who has a desire to improve the environment for future generations and currently looking for a role where you will receive encouragement and support to develop to the best of your ability?
Can you bring your passion and experience to our client where you will take an active role in helping develop services, hold greater responsibility, gain exposure to a wide variety of projects and get support along the way to achieve relevant professional qualifications to make you an expert in Geo-environmental Engineering.
If the answers to these questions are yes, we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join a highly professional team with offices around the UK, who have a strong reputation for quality and technical knowledge and an immediate requirement in their Bristol office.
Current schemes that you will immediately be involved with include;
*
Construction phase support to both client and contractor for projects.
*
Designing GI to support contaminated land, geotechnical, hydrogeological and waste assessments.
*
Remediation strategy developing stabilisation and soil washing trials.
*
Phase 1 and Phase 2 reporting, ES Chapter, GI design and management, risk assessments.
*
Multiple residential schemes consisting of remediation strategies, materials management plans, Phase 1 and 2 reporting, GI, ES chapters.
Day to day activity will be different and exciting, allowing you to use your skills in a variety of ways.
All we ask is that you have:
*
A good level of understanding of contaminated land risk assessment including development of the conceptual site model and remediation strategies.
*
A basic understanding of geotechnical testing and interpretation for the purposes of shallow foundations.
*
A basic level of understanding of writing Environmental Statements as part of an Environmental Impact Assessment.
*
A technical qualification, (BEng, BSc), in a relevant subject (geology, earth sciences, environmental science etc.).
