This Leeds based consultancy is a specialist in their market, and provides services to businesses across a range of industry sectors, in the UK and abroad.
They have previously taken on and developed graduates (5 were taken on last year during lockdown, and are still there and doing very well). Due to a new workstream being opened they are now looking to add another 3 graduates for their Leeds based team.
The role will involve modelling water networks using client data, including ArcGIS data; you will be working within the water industry for the main water utility companies.
A recent graduate, your degree should be engineering based- ideally Civil or Chemical, but other such as Aerospace or Mechanical are also good (though Electrical or Electronic not so much). You should be able to demonstrate good numerical reasoning and attention to detail. If you have some Hydraulics knowledge that would be ideal, but if not it can be trained- and you will also be able to learn the in-house industry-leading software.
Its a supportive environment, and full training will be provided; the pace of the work is very much dictated by clients and projects. You will gain good engineering experience and quickly develop specialised knowledge.
You will be office based, but in time there may be the opportunity to visit clients sites- and there could also be some scope to work from home part of the time.
You should be based in Leeds, or within commuting distance.
(The role and business will be discussed in more depth with candidates who are a good initial match).
