About the Role:

The Civil Engineer on this windfarm project is responsible for delivering the balance of plant scope including (Not limited to) WTG foundations, tracks and hardstands, as well as supporting and managing across all phases of project construction/delivery.

You will report directly to the Project Director for this project and will work collaboratively with team members across the organisation to ensure successful delivery of this project.

Specific responsibilities include:

Delivery of Plant Scope requirements (WTG foundations, Tracks/Hardstands)
Oversee the project engineering team as required on site
Coordinating/Managing subcontractors on site as required
Managing the specification of equipment/materials required in collaboration with the project manager
This role is based near the Newcastle, NSW region and will involve both site based and office based commitments as required by the project director.

About You:

To be successful within this position, you will hold tertiary qualifications in civil engineering, construction or similar, and ideally have worked in the renewable energy sector although this is not essential. Along with excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and onsite management skills, you will have:

Proven ability to work effectively within a team, as well as independently
Excellent time management/coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple project requirements and stakeholders requirements simultaneously
Proven subcontractor management experience on site based projects
Desire to progress your career within the renewables sector
Wind project experience is not required, but is highly suggested
Ideally you will live in the NSW region, and have the ability to DIDO as required
