I am currently seeking an Associate Geotechnical Engineer in the London area to work on a variety of rail projects.
About You
* 6-10 years experience including working on foundation and substructure systems, ground movement assessment and impact assessment of existing assets,
* Accomplished with Plaxis 2D, Plaxis 3D, Oaysis, Wallop and Slope W.
* Chartered.
The Role
* Motivate and lead project teams.
* Establish and develop client relationships.
* Liaise with clients to; Ensure requirements are clearly understood, Identify any alterations in requirements and implement them and develop fee proposals.
* Active involvement in all projects under their direction.
* Develop concept design.
* Review design and design documentation.
* Select sub-consultants including development of scope, programme and commercial aspects.
* Undertake project cost control and compile project invoices.
* Plan and manage project resources.
* Negotiate fee's with clients in conjunction with Project Director.
* Undertake project coordination and represent the company at consultant's meetings etc.
* Implement Quality System on projects.
* Undertake career planning and arrange for effective mentoring to be provided to employees under your direction.
* Identify training for all employees under your direction.
* Supervise and advise staff under your direction.
