Roma Black are proud to be working with a company who are designing smart energy systems to deliver multiple benefits including carbon reduction and are looking to recruit a Lead Energy Performance Engineer to join their team.

If successful you will be working on projects across the UK for large buildings, campuses and developments. You will have a passion for innovation, meticulous attention to detail and experience of working with renewable energy systems.

This role offers fantastic flexibility and applicants from all areas of the UK will be considered as long as you are happy to travel to London on occasion to work on specific projects.

Day to day duties of a Lead Energy Performance Engineer:

Leading a team of engineers
Developing concept designs from start to finish
Work through design considerations such as cost and efficiency
Working on net zero strategies
Detailed design of individual energy systems
Working with project managers to appraise investment decisions
Liaising with consultants and subcontractors
Report writing
Ensuring engineering specifications are procured, delivered and commissioned Required skills of a Lead Energy Performance Engineer:

Experience as a building services mechanical or electrical consultant or sustainability consultant working on project delivery
Degree qualified in a relevant discipline
Experience with software packages AutoCAD
Knowledge of energy performance contracts and energy markets would be an advantage
Good communication skills both written and verbal
Understanding of at least one of the following; solar PV, LV electricity systems, heat pumps, mechanical building services, electrical vehicle chargers or energy storage Features and benefits:
