Our client is expanding their Glasgow office by adding a Civil Engineer to their Bridges and Infrastructures team.

As a Civil Engineer you will work on a variety of Infrastructure projects such as the Forth Road bridge, railway bridges, the River Clyde Tidal Weir, railway stations and depots, wind farms, power stations and roads.

Within this role you will be expected to manage your own workloads, collaborate with colleagues, sharing best practices and attend client progress meetings.

RESPONSIBILITES

Prepare calculations and documents for projects
Undertake analysis and design using a range of software packages including finite element analysis such as LUSAS or Midas
Develop design and co-ordination skills to progress as an engineer

CIVIL ENGINEER BACKGROUND

Chartered or near chartered level
Experience within a similar role (UK consultancy)
Strong communication, numerical and report writing skills
Enthusastic approach to working within a team structure
Confident and able to take project lead on occasion
