Geotechnical Engineer - Design
South Oxfordshire
My client is a busy SME ground investigation company who are looking for a new Geotechnical Engineer with design skills to join their team in Henley on Thames.
They provide Contamination and Geotechnical Ground Investigation services to the land, property and construction sector. Clients include: Private Clients, Regional Property Developers, Pension Funds and Commercial Property Investors.
This is a small company who look to progress their staff organically and are looking for a team player who can demonstrate dedication as well as a relevant degree.
The role: Geotechnical Engineer - Design
You will be assessing the ground on a variety of projects to see if piling is required and, designing shallow foundations.
A typical week would be 3 days in the office report writing and 2 days on site.
Any additional Geo-Environmental knowledge would be useful but not necessary as this is a geotechnical role.
Most of the sites are within one and a half hours of the office location.
This position would suit someone who enjoys working in a small friendly team.
The ideal applicant will hold a relevant degree as well as a full UK driving licence.

Salary £28,000 - £40,000 Dependant on experience
